A famous YouTube star is paying a visit to Minnesota on Friday.

Shane Dawson – who is also a New York Times bestselling author – will be at the Mall of America's Rotunda at 5 p.m. to meet fans and give them copies of his book, "It Gets Worse: A Collection of Essays."

It's a humorous collection of stories and experiences covering everything from clashes with celebrities to coming to terms with his sexuality.

His previous best-seller "I Hate Myselfie" was also written as a collection of essays. But it mostly covered challenges he faced while growing up and how he developed into who he is now.

To meet Dawson, you'll have to purchase a copy of the latest book from the Barnes and Noble kiosk at MOA on Friday. They'll be on sale starting at 6 a.m.

You will only get a receipt at that point – no actual book. You'll get a signed copy after meeting with the internet celebrity.

And it's probably best to get there as early as possible, because a limited number of people will be able to get a meet and greet. It's first come, first serve.

In addition to getting an autographed book and meeting Dawson, fans will also have the opportunity to take a professional picture with him.

According to Social Blade, Dawson has more than 7.5 million YouTube subscribers, putting him at number 117 out of everyone on the video-sharing website.

You can check out Dawson's YouTube channel here.
