All of the inappropriate behavior accusations against Sen. Al Franken

What's been said, by whom, and when.

Who: Leeann Tweeden, radio host
When: Nov. 16, 2017
The allegation: Tweeden said Franken forced a kiss during a 2006 USO tour skit rehearsal despite her protests. And while she was sleeping on the trip back, he pretended to cup her breasts in a photo.
Franken's response: The senator said there's "no excuse" for the now-infamous photo and apologized, but added he doesn't remember the skit rehearsal the way Tweeden explains it. He also called for an ethics investigation into himself.

Who: Lindsey Menz
When: Nov. 20, 2017
The allegation: Menz told CNN Franken grabbed her butt while she took a photo with him at the Minnesota State Fair in 2010.
Franken's response: Franken said he doesn't remember the photo, but feels "badly ... she came away from their interaction feeling disrespected."

Who: Anonymous woman 1
When: Nov. 22, 2017
The allegation: The woman, who wanted to remain anonymous, told Huffington Post Franken grabbed her butt during a 2007 Women's Political Caucus in Minneapolis while she took a photo with him.
Franken's response: Franken said he doesn't remember the event.

Who: Anonymous woman 2
When: Nov. 22, 2017
The allegation: The woman, who also remained anonymous, told Huffington Post Franken cupped her butt while at a 2008 Democratic fundraiser in Minneapolis. She also said he suggested they go to the bathroom together.
Franken's response: He again said he doesn't remember that event, but denied outright the bathroom invite claim.

Who: Stephanie Kemplin, army veteran
When: Nov. 30, 2017
The allegation: Kemplin said she was stationed in Kuwait in 2003, and Franken visited as part of a USO Tour. When she posed for a photo with Franken, he cupped his hand around her breast for 5-10 seconds, she told CNN.
Franken's response: Franken's office in a statement reiterated a common line, that he's taken thousands of photos over the years and doesn't remember all of them. It also stated Franken "has never intentionally engaged in this kind of conduct."

Who: Anonymous woman 3
When: Nov. 30, 2017
The allegation: The former elected official in New England, who wanted to remain anonymous, told Jezebel Franken tried to give her a kiss on stage during a 2006 taping of his Air America radio show. She turned her head and his mouth landed on her cheek.
Franken's response: Franken's office did not respond to Jezebel.

Who: Anonymous woman 4
When: Dec. 6, 2017
The allegation: The woman, a former Democratic congressional aide, told Politico Franken tried to forcibly kiss her after a radio show in 2006. She also claimed he said, "It's my right as an entertainer."
Franken's response: Franken called it "categorically not true."

Who: Tina Dupuy

When: Dec. 6, 2017

The allegation: Dupuy, a former Democratic communications director and now a columnist for the Atlantic, says Franken grabbed "a handful of flesh" and squeezed, at least twice, as he posed for a picture with her at a Media Matters party in 2009.

Franken's response: He has not yet responded.
