Update: The Amber Alert issued Friday afternoon has been canceled after a kidnapped mother and baby were found safe.

An Amber Alert has been issued after a mother and her baby daughter were kidnapped outside a doctor's office in Coon Rapids on Friday.

Erica Crumb, 25, and 13-month-old Casina Smith were exiting the doctor's at 9055 Spring Drive NW at 12:44 p.m. when they were kidnapped.

They are believed to have been taken by the child's father, Milo Levell Smith, 29, who is described as being 6-foot tall, 140 pounds.

Smith currently has a restraining order against him.

He was driving a 2001 Chrysler Sebring LXI with the plate 589LRK.

Anyone with information should call 911.
