Ameriprise to purchase foreclosed Hotel Ivy

Ameriprise Financial Inc. is buying Hotel Ivy and restaurant in downtown Minneapolis. The luxury hotel went into foreclosure earlier this year. A spokesman for Ameriprise says the hotel offers the chance to reduce travel costs for employees and financial advisors. Ameriprise also owns a hotel and conference center in Chaska.
