Amid feud, woman signs up neighbor for 24 magazines
An Apple Valley woman who had been feuding with a neighbor over dog waste signed the neighbor up for 24 magazine subscriptions, WCCO reports.
Brenda Sanchez, 50, told police she didn't think she was breaking any laws when she sent a blizzard of periodicals to her neighbor's mailbox, but she has been charged with two felony counts of stalking, WCCO reports.
The magazines included Minnesota Sportsman, Diesel Power, MuscleMag, Snowmobiler and UFC 360, the Star Tribune reports.
Bills for the magazines were more than $520, a criminal complaint said. Police matched the writing on the subscription cards to a letter Sanchez had written.
The neighbor, Laine E. Anderson, said she has been suffering Sanchez's wrath since she complained to a homeowner's association about Sanchez's dog, the Star Tribune reports. She accuses Sanchez of other payback, including pouring bleach on her bushes and stealing a package that had been delivered to her house, although she says she can't prove those things, the Star Tribune reports. Anderson says Sanchez also played loud music and banged on her walls, KARE 11 reported.
Now Anderson plans to move, the Star Tribune reports.
