Continuing his run as the most impactful new artist of 2016, Anderson .Paak brought his juggernaut of a live show to the Ellen stage.

It's rare hip-hop happens in the daytime TV world, but as Anderson .Paak continues to transcend crowds from festivals to XXL's Freshmen List, these performances are going to continue to become more common. Not that we're complaining, as his stellar run of guest appearances shows the more Anderson .Paak we get, the better.

For this performance, .Paak is backed by The Free Nationals as he performs amidst a few dozen enthusiastic dancers, handling vocals and later in the song playing drums.

While Ellen only mentioned his most recent album Malibu, which "Come Down" is off of, .Paak has a new album with producer Knxwledge around the corner under their joint name NxWorries. That album, YES LAWD!, comes out Oct. 21.
