Health officials have confirmed three cases of a diarrheal disease, suspect six others and say there are likely many more that will go unreported in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The News Tribune reports the Edgewater Resort and Water Park closed voluntarily and super-chlorinated all of its water facilities, a process that health officials say will eradicate any threat.

"Crypto" is a parasite that spreads from human feces in water. After learning about the outbreak, Edgewater closed and treated facilities with super-chlorinated water, which kills the parasite.

A sign on the door of the restaurant chain's Plymouth location says it closed for financial reasons, the Star Tribune reports. Senser's in Eagan closed in November, also apparently because of financial hardships.
