Anytime Fitness muscles into top spot in tally of fastest growing fitness clubs

Anytime Fitness is the world's fastest growing fitness club, according to an industry trade association.
>The Line reports that the Hastings-based exercise chain didn't have to sweat to earn the annual designation from the International Health, Racquet, and Sportsclub Association; it's the sixth time it has made the top spot.
In 2012, the company's holdings got pumped with the addition of 260 new clubs. It now operates in 2,035 locations.

Anytime Fitness came in second on the IHRSA list for revenue growth with a 33 percent jump over the previous year. The club came in third for number of members, behind 24 Hour Fitness and Curves International.
