The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum's "Osprey Cam" is now streaming live.
The Associated Press says the camera captures an osprey couple near Tamarack Lake near Victoria. A 21-year-old male raptor has been returning to nest since 2003 and has a new mate, a 3-year-old female.
Two eggs could be seen in their nest on Friday, which both osprey take turns incubating.
The Arboretum says the family diet is 99 percent fish.
The video feed is available online and is also being broadcast on monitors in the Arboretum’s visitor center.
Xcel Energy monitors about five species of birds via webcam in eight different locations in Minnesota and other areas.
The Minnesota Department of Natural resources also recently launched a live camera that captures peregrine falcons in downtown St. Paul.
