160 exposed to hospital 'superbug' in Los Angeles

An outbreak of an antibiotic-resistant superbug in California has killed two people, infected seven more, and exposed an estimated 160 others at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

Minnesota experienced its coldest day of winter so far Thursday, and record-setting low temperatures are being felt across much of the United States as well.

Wal-mart gives 500,000 workers a raise

Retail giant Wal-mart said 500,000 full- and part-time workers will see their pay rise to at least $9 an hour from April, $1.75 above the federal minimum wage.
