At least 5 injured in I-94 crash

At least five people were injured in a crash on Interstate 94 east of Rogers just after 10 a.m. Thursday. The severity of the injuries was not immediately known.

The well-traveled stretch of Interstate 94 will be shut down for "an extended period of time" Thursday afternoon, KARE 11 reports.

All three westbound lanes were closed and traffic was at a standstill, the Pioneer Press reported.

Further complicating traffic flow, the left lane of eastbound I-94 is being used to allow westbound traffic to turn around and head east, WCCO reported.
