Author:

Police say a suspect with a BB gun rolled up to a group of Austin, Minnesota teens near a school Monday night before uttering,"Who's going to run first?" counting down from five, then firing the weapon at the group, according to KTTC.

One of the teens was struck in the head, and authorities are searching for the suspect.

The Austin Daily Herald reports the unidentified 17-year-old victim told police he was sitting with friends on a bench outside Sumner Elementary when the suspect crept by in a tan Buick, eventually stopping.

The suspect is also believed to be a juvenile, the paper says.

The victim was treated at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Austin with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Daily Herald.

According to ABC 6 police are investigating, and ask anyone with information to contact them.
