Jamie Robert Wylie, 31, of Foley was last seen leaving a friend's house in St. Cloud earlier this month. Now, the Benton County Sheriff's Office is looking to the public for clues to help find him, WCCO reports.

Wylie disappeared on the anniversary of Danielle Jelinek's disappearance. Both grew up in Cottage Grove and ran in the same social circles, according to friends. Jelinek's body was found in a swamp in Chisago County in May. Her ex-boyfriend, Aaron Schnagl, was indicted for her murder.

Wylie has not been in contact with his family since the night of Dec. 9, when he made a cellphone call and left his friend's house upset, according to Wylie's wife, Dana. The two have a 2-year-old son together.

He was reported missing to police on Dec. 15.

Wylie's aunt, Cheryl Wylie, told the St. Cloud Times that her nephew had been staying with friends in Foley and that it's unusual for him not to answer his cellphone -- they usually talk at least once a week.

"I do not think he’s alive because he would have called. He would have called no matter what," Cheryl Wylie told the newspaper.

Jamie Wylie is described as a white man, 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 160 pounds. Authorities say the name “Dana” is tattooed on his left wrist and the name “Jace” is tattooed on his right forearm.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Benton County Sheriff’s office at 320-968-0800 or 320-968-7201.
