A Rice County judge set bail at $100,000 with conditions for a former Shattuck-St. Mary's drama teacher charged with 17 counts of sexual misconduct.
The Faribault Daily News reports 71-year-old Lynn Seibel can be released under the conditions that he have no contact with the victims in the case, no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18, that he not leave the state and that he enters the pre-trial release supervision program.
Outright bail without conditions is set at $200,000.
Seibel is accused of having sexual relations with students, ages 15 to 18, between 1996 and 2003.
The Star Tribune says Seibel, a professional actor and director, was being held in the Los Angeles County Jail on unrelated child porn charges and was transferred to Minnesota on Monday.
Seibel plans to live in the Maplewood area near his son while the case plays out, FOX9 reports.
