Ben, Dana and Giselle's replay: 10/7/16 - Bring Me The News

Ben, Dana and Giselle's replay: 10/7/16

Upcoming concerts, hurricane party, and ideal SNL guests.

Happy Friday Jams! We went Facebook Live to kick off the morning and gave you a big concert announcement coming to US Bank Stadium.

6:15 - Which other concerts do we want here?

Coldplay will be here for the first time in five years. We wondered what other concerts we wanted to bring to Minneapolis. The bands that topped our concert bucket list would be Green Day and Red Hot Chili Peppers, the latter of which are coming in January. We were hoping for a little emotional throwback tour with My Chemical Romance, Dashboard Confessional, and more.

6:30 - Milan

We threw it out there, boys are dumb and girls are crazy. Giselle is having some long-distance boyfriend issues. Well, it wasn't really an issue as it was a request. She sent Intern Anna to befriend Milan (the BF) on Facebook and drop some hints about sending her flowers and showing a little extra affection from New York. Was she a little crazy or was this just a normal friend helping friend situation? We listened to your advice and had a pretty good chat about G's favorite flowers.

6:50 - The Trend

Florida is under some unpleasant weather with Hurricane Matthew moving in. Saturday Night Live has a musical guest that hits close to Ben, Dana and Giselle and we can't wait to see just what our favorite Taco Bell fans have in store this weekend. Last up, it's a huge sports weekend for Minneapolis with the Gophers and Vikings playing big games, Minneapolis Marathon on Sunday and we will be cheering on the Lynx who will kick off the WNBA championship this weekend too.

7:15 - Hurricane Party

Hurricane Matthew has official hit Florida and it sounded like some people, including Vanilla Ice, will be sticking around to throw his own version of a hurricane party. We found out he is doing great and safe. We would throw our own hurricane party and stock up on some booze and Netflix (generator not included).

7:30 - $1,000 Minute

Mason, not Nathan, played a great game to kick off the weekend and took home $65.44. Happy Weekend, Mason!

8:15 - Get to Know

Our boss, Chris wanted to know who the best host and musical guest combination would be. Dana wanted to see Obama host because he's a funny guy and who doesn't want to see a skit where he rages in the White House? Our winner went to Amanda, who chose Farrah Abraham, yes the porn star, as the host and musical guest star Snoop Dogg. What a classic combination!

We found out mid-morning that Coldplay is coming to Minneapolis next August. We gave away tickets to Kara who sang her own rendition of "Yellow." Congratulations!

We kicked off Foodie Friday with Amore Uptown. Thank you Doug and Tim that stopped in and brought us some amazing food, the famous burger, fettuccini, homemade sough dough bread, and of course cocktails! Check them out here!

We'll be wrapping up the weekend with Go Vote MN at the VFW in Uptown. On Sunday at 6 p.m., Go Vote will be hosting a non-partisan party to celebrate the second presidential debate. Join us and get registered to vote while grabbing a couple beers with friends. We can't wait to see you there!

Don't forget the Daily Rap Up with Chaz Kangas (@chazraps) who freestyles a secret word and recaps everything we talked about previously in the show.
