Ben, Dana and Giselle's replay: 1/12/17

B, D & G talk about St. Paul's new mini-golf bar and ask a cop about car-idling rules!

6:00 Happy Thursday

Ben, Dana and Giselle woke up to no Intern Anna, that's right she went missing again this morning. Just kidding, she overslept...again. It was a busy morning in studio with Officer Schmidt, Thirsty Thursday, and other fun stuff. Thanks for listening in to B, D and G on 96.3.

6:15 Lies That You Never Grew Out Of

Didn't you always think that you were just going to have the time of your life when you turned 21? Like everything would be so easy now? Wrong! Ben, Dana and Giselle helped you go through all those tough "I'm an adult now, things will work out," phases in your life every day.

6:30 Is that Girl Code?

Ready for this one? Bella and Gigi Hadid are sisters, Bella Hadid previously dated The Weeknd (Google Victoria Secret Fashion Show Breakup), Selena Gomez and Gigi are BFF-ish and in Taylor Swift's squad. Ok got everything? Well, Selena Gomez was caught getting her mack on with The Weeknd. So, now that you are well versed on pop culture, did Selena Gomez violate girl code? Is that ok or total no go?

6:50 The Trend

Taco Bell took all that healthy stuff and balanced it out with the debut of the fried chicken naked taco (it's not actually naked) and it sounds amazing, so set your alarms for January 26th. Minneapolis International Airport topped another list of awesome with the 5th most punctual airport in the world, the world people! There is also a new pinball machine bar with gourmet hotdogs coming to Eat Street in April.

7:15 Ask a Cop

It's cold out and everyone knows that so starting your car before work for a few minutes can't hurt right? Wrong, and you might even get your car stolen! Officer Schmidt was in studio to warn everyone that you can get a ticket (or worse, a missing car) for trying to just stay a little warmer in the mornings. What about those carpool lanes? Do babies count as passengers? Yes, they do! So take advantage of those kiddos in the back seat while you drive with ease in the carpool lane.

7:30 $1000 Minute

Ryan played a round of $1000 Minute this morning and what a good sport he was about it. Play with us every day at 7:30am.

8:15 Get To Know

A viral video came out yesterday showing some Jimmy Johns workers jumping rope with dough, some people thought it was funny some people thought it was eh...gross? We all have done some stupid things at our day jobs. Dana has some of the best stories and if you were a pretty girl around his age when he worked at Camp Snoopy, you were getting a lot of free prizes. Everyone has a little fun at work sometimes, no one is judging.

8:30 Can Can Wonderland

Chris stopped by the studio on Thursday morning to talk about the opening of Can Can Wonderland, a new indoor mini golf course with a twist. It is an artist-designed mini golf stop course! They have a full bar, carney food, and live entertainment. They open on Thursday at 10am.

9:30 Thirsty Thursday

Welcome in Tom and Bob from Waconia Brewing Company. They stopped in on Thursday to celebrate the start to the weekend with their Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter and Raspberry Tart. Yes, you read that right they have a chocolate peanut butter beer to pair with those Reece's you can't ever say no to. Don't worry about the trip out there, there's a new distillery and wineries out in Carver so jump on the bus tour and get your drink on.

9:50 Weekend Shenanigans

Sportsology opens this weekend at the Science Museum of Minnesota with races again T-Rex and beer specials on Thursday.

Urban Growler is giving you free ice cream on Sunday from 2-5pm.

Day Block Brewing Company has brunch all day on Sunday, so if you're hungover from the weekend, go hang out there.
