Best Buy plans to air another Super Bowl spot

Best Buy Company, Inc. is once again planning to advertise during the Super Bowl on Feb. 3, Twin Cities Business reports. A spokesman for the Richfield-based electronics retailer confirmed the plans, but declined to reveal any specific details about the ad.

Best Buy's first Super Bowl commercial aired in 2011. It featured pop star Justin Bieber and rock icon Ozzy Osbourne. Check it out below:

In an email, a CBS spokesman told CNNMoney that some 30-second spots have hit a record high of at least $4 million.

We won't see an ad from Target Corp. during this year's big game, but the Minneapolis-based discount chain has launched a free limited-run mobile game called Snack Bowl, Advertising Age reports.

“Snack Bowl is a fun, new way for Target to engage with our mobile guests as they think about planning a great game-day party,” Phil McKoy, vice president, Target.com, said on the retailer's blog.

The Baltimore Ravens will face the San Francisco 49ers in New Orleans for Super Bowl XLVII.
