Best Buy reaches out to anxious shoppers with '20 Days of Doorbusters'

The retailer will offer one deal a day guaranteed to be their lowest prices of the season.

It's a bad feeling when you shell out hundreds of dollars on a piece of tech only to see the price has been slashed a short time later.

Best Buy is looking to stop that at least for the next few weeks, launching its "20 Days of Doorbusters" starting Friday that will see a different deal posted to its website each day.

The electronics giant is guaranteeing that the price for each of these items will be at their absolute lowest for the whole holiday season.

You can see their thinking behind it, extending an olive branch to skittish customers who hold back from buying in case the price drops a few weeks down the line.

Shoppers won't be allowed to see what the prices are until the day they're revealed.

But you can see hints of what products will be on sale on each day at this page – with a big-screen 4K TV the first on Friday, followed by a Macbook deal on Saturday.

With the busiest shopping weekend of the year just passed, retailers are finding ways to extend their discounts to lure shoppers throughout December.

Target for example is holding a 10 percent flash sale on gift cards this coming weekend, and has also been running "Cyber Week" digital deals on its website, which end on Saturday.
