Best Buy, Target draw kudos for holiday ads

Minnesota-based Best Buy and Target featured ads that were among the 10 best spots in the week leading up to the official launch of the holiday shopping season, Adweek says.

The Best Buy ad suggests that giving gifts of electronics can help change the world:

And the Target spot features a super-sized version of Bullseye, the Target mascot bull terrier:

Target, Best Buy to help eBay launch same-day delivery service

Ebay Inc. is teaming up with some of the nation's biggest retailers, including Minneapolis-based Target and Richfield-based Best Buy, to test a same-day delivery service, Reuters reports. The move comes as rival Amazon.com Inc., the world's largest online retailer, is building more warehouses to deliver items faster and cheaper.
