Best Buy also withdrew its earnings view for the year. The company says it earned $12 million, or 4 cents per share, in the quarter ended Aug. 4 -- compared with $128 million, or 34 cents per share.

New company moving into part of Best Buy's headquarters in Richfield

A new company is moving into part of Best Buy's corporate headquarters complex in Richfield. The Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal reports the Golden Valley-based debt collection agency DCM Services will take over the sixth floor of Building A. The move is part of Best Buy's plan to find ways to save money.
