Best car insurance pitch ever?

The Minnesota man behind the note that's going viral.

Well that's just brilliant.

An insurance agent in Rochester, Minnesota, is getting some attention for his marketing genius. A photo posted to Reddit Wednesday shows a note along with Andrew Cooney's business card, which were left on someone's car.

The note reads: "I paid your parking meter for you ... imagine what else I'm willing to do to protect your car."

Cooney tries to pay at least 20 parking meters every time he goes out for what he calls a "marketing day," noting the tactic has resulted in a handful of potential customers, he told GoMN.

"It's mainly helped just with exposure, but I never would have guessed it would blow up this big!" he told GoMN.

Cooney said he got the idea to leave the notes while talking to a friend about out-of-the-box marketing ideas.
