Beyoncé's new Formation Scholars scholarship program is incredible

Beyoncé continues to make a difference.

We're now entering year two of post-Lemonade Earth, and Beyoncé is marking the occasion with some well-received philanthropy.

Announced on her website, the Formation Scholars Awards will begin with the 2017-2018 academic year.

Here, according to Queen Bey, young women who "are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious and confident," will be encouraged and supported.

Berklee College of Music, Parsons School of Design, Howard University, and Spelman College will each offer one female incoming, current or graduate student a scholarship for their continuing efforts in the fields of creative arts, music, literature, or African-American studies. The colleges themselves have their own details regarding applying for the Formation Scholarships.
