Bloomington Ice Garden is a finalist for $150K in upgrades

Bloomington Ice Garden (or BIG) is one of the two finalists for a $150,000 upgrade through Kraft Hockeyville USA – and to host a 2017 NHL preseason game.

BIG is competing with an arena in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, for the grand prize, the City of Bloomington announced Monday. And over the next two days, people can vote on which arena should win.

You can cast your vote by visiting krafthockeyville.com, and votes can be also be made through Twitter or text message. Rules allow you to cast 101 votes per day.

The runner-up will still receive $75,000 towards arena upgrades.

The winner will be announced on about April 29.
