The body of a 69-year-old Fairmont, Minn., man has been recovered in Hook Lake, roughly 60 miles west of the Twin Cities, WCCO reports.
A family member told authorities that Keith Allan Wilken had attempted to swim across the lake just north of Hutchinson, Minn., WCCO reported. But he went missing at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, the Star Tribune reported. The body was found at about 7:30 p.m.
The search involved the Hutchinson Search and Rescue divers, Allina Ambulance, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota Air Patrol-Trooper 7, the Carver County Dive Team and the Kandiyohi County boat, as well as a sonar and diver, the McLeod County Chronicle reported.
