The body of a man reported missing a week ago has been found by searchers.
The Stevens County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the body located on Saturday around 1 p.m. was that of Eric Scott, 31, of Appleton, Minnesota.
Police say his body was found on a grassy area near 330th Street and 500th Avenue in rural Stevens County, not far from the Pomme De Terre River.
His vehicle was found near 490th Avenue.
Multiple agencies including local police and sheriff's offices, the State Patrol and the Minnesota DNR carried out extensive ground and air searches for Scott in the past few days.
It's not been confirmed at this stage what caused his death.
In a post on Facebook, Scott's mother, Terri Hanson-Scott, confirmed her son's death.
"Wanted to let everyone know that Eric Scott has been found and that he is in the Lord’s warm embrace," she wrote.
"A special thank you to those involved in the search efforts for giving selflessly to help find my son. Thank you all for your support and prayers!"
