The body of one of three men missing after their boat capsized on Lake of the Woods last week has been recovered.

The Northern Light Region reports that a body was pulled from the lake at 5:07 p.m. Friday, and was later confirmed to be that of Justin Kelly Haugtvedt, 22.

The newspaper reports that his body was found by search teams in the southwest area of Oak Island "in approximately fourteen feet of water."

Haugtvedt is from Baudette, Minnesota, as are his fellow boaters Keith Ayers, 28, and Cody Ostendorf, 24, both of whom remain unaccounted for.

The trio left Sunset Resort on Oak Island around 11:30 p.m. last Friday, Oct. 2, and were reported missing on Saturday. They had planned on staying at Flag Island that night, and their 16-foot boat was found capsized near the northeast corner of the island last Saturday around 3:27 p.m.

The Forum News Service reports that shoe belonging to Ayers was found by authorities on the shore of Oak Island on Thursday.

The Forum also reports that Haugtvedt is originally from Warren, Minnesota, Ostendorf grew up in the Twin Cities, and that Ayers hails from Pennsylvania.

A GoFundMe page was set up by one of Haugtvedt's friends to help support the families of the three men, and it has so far raised more than $23,000.

The page describes Haugtvedt, or "Huggy" as he is known, as "always full of fun and shenanigans."
