Body pulled from Mississippi River ID'd as Illinois teen

The body recovered from the Mississippi River near the Wakota Bridge Sunday night has been identified as a teenager from Illinois.

The Pioneer Press reports 19-year-old Nicolas Patrick Pacha of Naperville, Ill. had been missing since April 29 when police say he jumped from the Third Street bridge in Minneapolis.

Pacha's body was found about a half mile south of the bridge between South St. Paul and Newport.

Several bodies have been pulled from local rivers in recent days. Among them were two Wisconsin teens who had jumped together from the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis.

Dakotah Coach, 18, was discovered near the Ford Dam on May 21. The body of Erika Renee Borgstrom of Roberts, Wis., 16, was recovered May 29 in a backwater area between the Mississippi and Minnesota rivers near the Mendota Bridge.
