Dive teams is western Wisconsin recovered a body believed to be the driver of a semi that plunged into the Red Cedar River Tuesday morning. FOX 9 reports a second passenger is still unaccounted for.
Around 4 a.m., the semi traveling westbound on I-94 near Menomonie lost control on the snow-covered roadway and slipped into the river.
A male passenger is also presumed dead.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says the semi was based out of Lansing, Mich. The identities of the two have not been released.
The eastbound lanes of I-94 were closed for several hours, but reopened around 10:15 a.m., the Leader-Telegram reports.
