Boy, 5, drowns in Rush City-area lake

The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office said a 5-year-old boy drowned in a lake just west of Rush City Tuesday evening. Matthew Siefert was with his family visiting friends and family when the boy asked to go swimming. Officials believe the boy drowned when he fell off a dock while trying to get a life jacket.
