A bystander was shot after an argument broke out among several customers at a restaurant in downtown Minneapolis in the early hours of Saturday.

According to a Minneapolis police press release, a single shot was fired inside Asian Tastes, in the 1400 block of Nicollet Ave. S., just after 1 a.m.

It happened after a group of men walked into the restaurant and started arguing with each other. A shot went off, hitting a man – who was uninvolved in the altercation – in the leg.

His injury is said to be non-life-threatening.

The men then ran outside and began to brawl. During this altercation, "several more" shots were fired, with one man hit.

He turned up later at Hennepin County Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the torso. This was also not life-threatening.
