You can celebrate Bob Dylan all week long in Duluth

It's a week-long birthday celebration for Bob.

Bob Dylan turns 76 years old on May 24.

If you want to celebrate the changin' times with other Dylan fans, head up to Duluth for the city's seventh annual Dylan Fest.

The iconic songwriter was born on the North Shore in 1941 (and even talked about his childhood in a recent interview). His family moved to Hibbing about six years later.

But Duluth still dedicates eight days of fun and events to the Nobel Prize-winner.

Dylan Fest starts Saturday evening with Robby Vee and His Rock-N-Roll Caravan. Sunday you've got Dylan pub trivia, Monday is a Dylan-themed art show, Tuesday has some Dylan covers and performances.

Wednesday they're holding a birthday party for the man himself.

Oh, and there's the "Blood on the Tracks Express," described as a "Dylan-inspired rolling-train music festival from Duluth to Two Harbors." That takes place Thursday.

This site has a breakdown of the musical performances if you want more details.

There are events every day throughout the week – check out the full schedule here.

There will also be a "one-of-a-kind Bob Dylan display" at Duluth's Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, from May 20 through June 30.

Dylan recently picked up that Nobel medal he won last year. Though he's got just a few weeks left (until June 10) to perform the required Nobel lecture, or lose out on the $900,000 in award money.
