There are still 72 days until they serve up that first Pronto Pup, but you don't have to wait that long to grab ahold of a ticket to the Minnesota State Fair.

In fact, this year you can print that ticket in your own home right now – giving you plenty of time to spill mustard on it or otherwise break it in before you haul it down to the fairgrounds between August 24 and September 4.

The print-your-own option is a first in the long history of the Fair and they've partnered with etix.com for it. It lets you take advantage of the pre-Fair price of $11 instead of the $14 a full-price ticket will cost you at the gate this year.

The Fair's marketers are promoting self-printed tickets as good summer gifts (they've even made a greeting card to stick them in).

But if printing's not your style, don't fret. You can still have tickets mailed to you – and that goes for the grandstand shows and Midway ride tickets, too.

You can also pick them up in person. They're already for sale at the Fairgrounds in Falcon Heights. A long list of supermarkets and chambers of commerce around the state will start selling Fair tickets on June 25. In the Twin Cities a whole bunch of Cub Foods stores will have tickets, along with the Blue Ribbon Bargain Books, that have 150 Fair coupons.

And if you'd like someone to pay you to go to the Fair – also known as working there – there's a job fair coming up on June 28
