Car slams into 6 vans at Savage dealership, driver killed
A woman was killed Wednesday after the car she was driving veered off a Savage highway and struck a half dozen parked vehicles.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol incident report, 35-year-old Danielle Wesley of Apple Valley was traveling eastbound on Highway 13 near Dakota Avenue around 11:15 a.m.
The Star Tribune says the speeding vehicle went off the highway, crossed over a frontage road and slammed into six minivans at Rollx Vans, a dealer of wheelchair-accessible vans.
Lt. Eric Roeske tells the Savage Pacer that witnesses reported seeing Wesley's car go airborne after colliding with the vans, eventually striking a tree.
KARE 11 reports investigators aren't sure what caused the crash.
