The St. Cloud diocese is holding a second listening session for those concerned about sexual abuse allegedly committed by a church deacon in the late 1960's. Monday's session is meant to help answer some of the questions raised at a similar meeting earlier this month.

A man claims he was abused by a priest decades ago, but he's filing the lawsuit outside the statute of limitations. His attorney argues that he had repressed the memories of the abuse, so he wouldn't have been able to bring the case at the time. The state's supreme court is trying to determine whether repressed memories are scientifically valid. If so, the case could open up the church to more sex abuse claims.
