Chance the Rapper and his dad Bennett have been named among five new trustees at the DuSable Museum of African American History in Chicago. Given how much Chance has tried to do for his hometown, naming him to the board seems like an absolute slam dunk.

Since 1961, Chicago's DuSable Museum of African American History has aimed “to promote understanding and inspire appreciation of the achievements, contributions, and experiences of African Americans.”

When Chance isn't doing critically important work for his community, he's sharing his rankings of fellow Chicago history maker Kanye West's discography.
