Chance the Rapper cancels European tour dates

Less than 24 hours after a BBC performance dedicated to Kanye West, Chance has abruptly cancelled the remainder of his European tour.

It was only yesterday that hip-hop fans across the pond were galvanized by Chance the Rapper's BBC Radio performance where he dedicated "All We Got" and his prayers to Kanye West when, less than 24 hours later, word broke that he's cancelled the remaining dates of his European tour.

While nothing has been said of the decision other than it being for "personal reasons," it's highly out of character for the MC who has been hip-hop's must-see live show for the better part of the past two years. Fans are speculation the abrupt aborting of the concert plans were so he can return stateside to be with Kanye, based on Chance's comments during his performance yesterday that he might see Ye for Thanksgiving, but right now there's been nothing to confirm his reasoning.

Irish concert promoters MCD broke the story when they posted on Facebook:

It is with regret that Chance the Rapper has to cancel the remainder of his European tour due to personal reasons. These are 2 shows at the Helix in Dublin and 1 show at the Apollo in Manchester. He sends his apologies for this and looks forward to returning to Europe in 2017. Refunds are available from point of purchase.
