Chance the Rapper's Kanye West tribute and Drake cover

There's been a wide range of reactions to this week's tumultuous Kanye news, and collaborator Chance the Rapper has responded in prayer and song...

Being that Chance the Rapper's Magnificent Coloring World Tour is entering the the UK soon, Chicago's finest stopped by BBC Radio's 1Xtra to do "a special rendition" of one of his song's for an excited across-the-pond audience. But with the news of friend Kanye West checking in to a Los Angeles hospital for what's been referred to as "his own health and safety," Chance made it a point to send poignant well-wishes to his fellow Chicagoan.

Performing Coloring Book's "All We Got," Chance expressed the following sentiment:

“I want to extend a very special prayer to my big brother, Kanye West. I know [there ’s] a lot of weird folks out there but you already know I’m a hundred grand. I want to just extend this prayer and extend this love from all the way in Britain. I might come home early to see this man. Happy Thanksgiving.”

Chance also performed Drake's "All We Got" and expressed that next time, he'll be there for a longer chat.
