According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 29-year-old Samuel Maser of St. Francis was driving a Ford Crown Victoria along Highway 10 in Coon Rapids around 2 a.m. Ashley Novak, 30, of Coon Rapids was in the vehicle with him.

Maser crashed into a stalled vehicle on the side of the road, reports say. No one was in that vehicle.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office told KSTP that alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
