They've been teasing out releases over the last few weeks, and now the Wild's new adidas jerseys are here. Whaddaya think?
The Wild say they worked with the NHL and adidas to come up with the design. Not surprisingly, they're pretty psyched about it. They say it's both modern and vintage.
These forest green ones will be the home sweaters. The team says that stripe across the chest is not white. It's wheat. There's another wheat stripe across the bottom. Also new are the 'M' shoulder patch and the red stripes on the sleeves (and the socks).
The Wild haven't reached their 20th birthday yet, but they wanted a vintage feel to pay tribute to the sport's history in Minnesota. That comes across in their promo video for the new sweaters.
The NHL is also doing away with alternate jerseys. So instead of having three different looks, teams will have just one home and one road sweater.
The Wild say their road ones will keep the look and design of the white jersey they rolled out for the 2013-14 season. Find more explanation of the home jersey's details here.
It's not in stores yet but it can be pre-ordered from the Hockey Lodge.
