Check out Duluth from space, thanks to a Wisconsin astronaut

Duluth got a "Good morning" from space Monday.

Jeff Williams tweeted a photo of the Twin Ports as seen from the International Space Station. He then got a "Good morning" back from Duluth's mayor, Emily Larson.

Williams, who calls Wisconsin home, departed for the space station back in March. It's his fourth spaceflight, and when he returns he'll become the American with the most cumulative days in space (534), NASA said.

Williams has tweeted other photos from the space station, including the barrier reef off the coast of Belize, the Great Salt Desert in Iran, and a few other shoutouts to the Midwest.

He's not the first astronaut to tweet photos of Minnesota from space. Dr. Kjell Lindgren tweeted photos of Minneapolis and St. Paul last fall.
