Lindsey Vonn is on the treatment table again, and this week shared pictures of her broken arm with her social media followers.

The Minnesota skiing ace broke her humerus in a crash while training in Copper, Colorado on Friday and required surgery on her upper arm.

A metal plate had to be inserted to help with the recovery, and she showed fans the gruesome scar she's been left with post-op.

She wrote on another post: "I will work my hardest to be back on the slopes as soon as I can, as I always do. Thanks for all of your continued support."

The multi-time world downhill champion has had a storied history of injuries. Her 2016 skiing season ended early, the third time in four years this has happened, after she sustained a hairline fracture of her knee, the New York Times reports.

Vonn, a St. Paul native who learned to ski on the Buck Hill slope, tore knee ligaments and broke her leg in a 2013 crash during the super-G downhill in Schladming, Austria, CBS News reported.

The damage was so severe that she was forced to miss the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

NBC Sports reports her latest injury came a few weeks before she was due to make her debut in the 2017 skiing season, but the setback puts her return into question as she pursues the World Cup wins record.

She's at 76, needing 10 mark to reach the record set by Ingemar Stenmark.
