Classes canceled Monday at Hill-Murray School due to power outage

There's no school for students at the Hill-Murray School in Maplewood Monday following a power outage in the area, the school's website says.

The school's email and phone communications are offline, but students are still asked to check FinalSite after 10 a.m. Monday for messages or notes from their teachers, the school says.

All after-school activities are also canceled, the Pioneer Press says.

As of 5:50 a.m., Xcel Energy's power outage map did not show any outages in the Maplewood area.

Hill-Murray School serves students in grades six through 12 and has an enrollment of 720 students, the school's website notes.
