Hurricane Nicole left a trail of damage across the western Atlantic Ocean, but also threw up a surprise for a Bermudan fisherman.

Tristan Loescher caught (and released) this 14-pound lobster after taking to the seas over the weekend. A picture of Loescher with his gargantuan crustacean has been shared more than 15,000 times on Facebook after being posted by Sanctuary Marine Bermuda on Saturday.

Loescher was delighted with his catch, but also a little miffed that he didn't catch it the next day. On his Facebook page, he wrote: "14lb! Big bug! Kinda wish I caught it a day later, in the lobster tournament."
