The Maryland-based developer behind a new outlet mall in Eagan, Paragon Outlet Partners, is ready to break ground on the $100 million project, Patch reports. A ceremony is set for Tuesday, June 4, along Cedar Grove Parkway.

Paragon is reportedly expected to unveil the roughly 100 top brand-name stores that will occupy the proposed 441,000-square-foot open-air shopping complex in the city's Cedar Grove neighborhood.

Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th announced in December it will open a 28,000-square-foot anchor store at the new mall.

The new mall is expected to create thousands of jobs and is slated to open in November 2014.

It will be the closest major outlet mall to the Twin Cities metro, and the only one within the seven-county metro area.
