A police officer found all kinds of amusements inside a car he pulled over for speeding recently near Casey's Amusement Park in Alexandria, the Echo Press reports.

Officer Chad Melton noticed two beer cans in the 20-year-driver's Lincoln LS. He also smelled pot, which led to several other discoveries in the vehicle: two backpacks full of marijuana and $17,000 cash, the newspaper reports.

Dillon Anderson, of Alexandria, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell.

The cash and the car were seized and the Douglas County attorney is seeking forfeiture, the Echo Press reports.
