Countless tears and 452 needles later, this couple is finally pregnant – with twins

"452 Needles, 1000s of tears, 1 corrective surgery, 4 clomid/letrozole attempts, 2 IVF rounds, 3 failed transfers ..."

A Texas couple's pregnancy announcement is going viral.

Not because it's super adorable or fun – but because it really shows how far couples will go to have a family.

"We prayed for 953 days," Lauren Walker wrote in the Facebook post. "452 Needles, 1000s of tears, 1 corrective surgery, 4 clomid/letrozole attempts, 2 IVF rounds, 3 failed transfers & 1 Amazing GOD."

Lauren and her husband Garyt struggled with infertility for years. They spent about $30,000 on treatments and lost embryo after embryo.

Fast-forward to last October. The Walkers told ABC News they decided to take out a big loan and try again.

Finally, they got the news they'd been hoping for: Lauren was pregnant – not with one child, but with twins.

Babies Duke and Diana Walker are expected in August.

The couple went through a lot of pain, tears and money to get here, but Lauren says it was worth the wait ... and wait, and wait, and wait.

"I would do this 2,000 times over and over, again and again," she said in the post.
