There may be nothing more "Minnesota nice" than a crime suspect taking the time to pose for a photo during the act, saving police and their sketch artists an awful lot trouble.

Case in point, this couple in Detroit Lakes, who didn't seem the least bit shy when they noticed surveillance cameras peeping on them during an alleged theft at a Walmart early this month.

Detroit Lakes police put the six photos on Facebook Monday, hoping someone might recognize the pair.

However, those photos have since been taken down; the department tells GoMN that they believe they've identified the couple pictured in them.

The suspects haven't been charged yet, however.

Authorities also haven't specified what was taken during the alleged crime.
