The latest metro Craigslist robbery where a suspect used a stun gun to swipe a laptop from a seller Sunday has prompted another warning from the Ramsey County Attorney's Office, the Star Tribune reports.

Criminal complaints state the men arranged to meet the victim in St. Paul after he advertised a laptop for sale on Craigslist. One of the men used a stun gun on the seller while the other snatched the man's laptop, wallet and cell phone. The victim suffered minor injuries.

In August, a Maplewood man was charged after he allegedly shot and killed a 19-year-old Hamline University student who responded to an ad on Craiglist for an iPhone.

Nationally, a trial is in progress in Ohio involving a 17-year-old who's accused of fatally shooting three men lured by phony Craigslist job offers.

Ramsey County Attorney John Choi once again warned consumers Tuesday to take care in online transactions that have been tied to a rash of robberies, the Star Tribune says.
