Crews have recovered the body of 22-year-old man missing since Wednesday morning after a three-level tugboat capsized and went over a Mississippi River dam about 6:15 a.m. near Dresbach, Minn., the La Crosse Tribune reports.

WXOW reports three people aboard the boat went into the water, but only two were able to make it to safety. The pair suffered minor injuries.

The LaCrosse Tribune says a crane on the dam lowered a basket onto the tugboat to assist in the rescue operation.

The Winona County Sheriff's Office says it's possible the boat lost power before going over the dam. The vessel is currently on its side in the water below the dam.

Authorities told a WXOW reporter at the scene that the missing passenger may be trapped inside the boat.

In May, eleven people were rescued from the river when a houseboat tipped over near the same dam, Lock and Dam No. 7, and was swept over the roller gates.
