Crews douse warehouse fire in NE Minneapolis

Publish date:

Firefighters battled a warehouse blaze at Marshall Concrete Products in northeast Minneapolis Friday morning, WCCO reports. But crews had the fire out before 9 a.m., the station reports.

Smoke that drifted over Interstate 94 was visible for miles. The plant had been closed for the winter, workers at a neighboring business told the Star Tribune.

It was not immediately known if there are injuries at the facility at Lowry Avenue and Marshall Street. KSTP says "Everyone made it out safely."

Traffic in the area was a mess, the Star Tribune reported.
